About Us
Lora Grafenstein-Kinzel is the owner of At Your Service Weddings, LLC. She first started in the 'wedding business' in 1992 in the catering industry in North Dakota. Since then, she has been passionate about weddings. Lora's wedding expertise developed through her work in several wedding-related fields including bridal and men's formal wear, catering, floral arts, graphic design, and various positions in the hotel industry.
Lora graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Advertising & Public Relations. Following graduation, she relocated to Minneapolis where she worked in public relations and advertising. She later worked in the non-profit sector where she gained valuable event planning skills. While working full-time, she attended the University of St. Thomas in downtown Minneapolis and earned a Master of the Arts degree in Business Communication. It was at this time that she decided to merge her event planning skills with her wedding vendor knowledge and passion to create At Your Service Weddings.

"I have always been around friends who have enjoyed planning their own weddings but struggled with some of the logistical and organizational aspects of the process. I was always happy to lend a hand, and, because of my wedding and event planning background, they were always happy to ask. I realized early on that I had a passion for the planning of weddings. I felt that in order to do this professionally, I needed to work in as many wedding-related businesses as possible before starting out on my own to do the planning for clients. The skills that I have learned have been invaluable. On a windy wedding day, if a floral arrangement at an outdoor wedding blows over and falls apart, my background will help to put it back together the way you and your florist designed it."
